Welcome to the home of Zizania Photography

Zizania was founded by Gareth Shaw, a passionate photographer, to whom stepping up to the professional arena has come naturally. The combination of the technical and the artistic elements required to produce the perfect image are of particular interest to him and his unique style which encompass strong composition and design which is evident in all of his work.

Gareth has a keen interest in both event and still life photography, but rather than adopting the traditional ‘table top’ style of old, he prefers a more artistic and often abstract approach. Ultilising diferent camera angle to accentuate the subject. His aim is to put ‘life back into still life’ and he portrays everyday objects in a new and exciting way through the creative use of technique, colour and lighting.

Photography is Gareth's lifeblood; when he is not busy taking photographs for clients he is always involved in image creation of some sort, from Logo's to Websites, Stationary to Large Format Photographic Prints. Endlessly experimenting with different techniques helps keep his photography fresh and up to date.

During the event we took over 8000 photos, this will take some time for the team to edit down and upload. We are also staying in Slovakia until Friday 28th October so will be uploading the photos next week. If you would like to emailed when the pictures are uploaded then please email gareth@zizania.co.uk with your name, category and country.

2. Click on the event name to see all images from that event
3. Use the sub menu's to narrow down your selections by category

We offer Digital or Physical copies plus any amendments you require. Full details of all the options are provided on every image's page.

Remember to check for the special offers on purchases of 5-9, 10-14 and 15+ images and don't forget to refer friends to receive an extra discount (account required).
